Alex Melvin

A Licensed Architect who specializes in sustainable design, construction materials, methods, and building systems, with an expertise in building information modeling. He has been working with SPA since 2017 and LBGO Architekten since 2015, and teaches Methods & Materials at Mass. College of Art & Design in Boston
With an education in both Architecture and Construction Management, Alex brings a unique perspective to the table, being conscious of construction methods, costs, and schedule throughout the design process, allowing for projects with a high level of design within expected budgets and timelines.
Alex has interest in blending Design and Construction, sustainable materials and processes, creative material implementation, computer programming and parametric design, innovative fabrication techniques and construction processes.

Sayem Khan
Architect

An experienced Licensed Architect / Urban Designer with a demonstrated history of working in the civic & social organization industry. He has experience working in collaboration with For-profit & Nonprofit Organizations, with project experience in Urban Planning, Construction Administration, Sustainable Design Practices, and Proposal Writing.
Sayem has managed projects in both Haiti and the United States, ranging in scale from small demonstration centers in Haiti using local materials, methods and labor, to a $3M historic preservation/adaptive-reuse of an old Power Station into a TV Network station in Roxbury.
